Mrs. Catrina Murphy
Financial Manager
Catrina Murphy has over 15 years experience in Program Management while working in the federal government. As a Program Manager, she has experience in managing budgets, implementation schedules, and systems’ performance. She has Program Management Level 4 certification. Catrina has an MBA and is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to the federal government, she worked for one of the largest accounting firms. Catrina also understands the importance of investing in our youth and their future as demonstrated in her various volunteer positions in helping the youth. Most notably, Catrina served on the Board of Managers for two charter schools, and she led the Board for two years as the Board Chair.
Her experience in working with the youth combined with her financial and management
experience provides a strong foundation that she will leverage as the financial manager.
Growing up with a father who is a carpenter and working in the construction industry, Catrina has an appreciation for the trade industry and understands just how important trade jobs are for individual communities and societies as a whole. Young adults have the intelligence, the attention to detail, and excellent analytical and leadership skills that are needed for the various trades. Many times, they just need assistance with applying those skills in a way to have a positive impact on the economy and their future. The Joe A. Sanders Vo-Tech Fund, Inc. will provide, for many youth, an opportunity and a starting point on a pathway that will have endless opportunities.
